If you have purchased and downloaded Intermediate
or Advanced Vol.1 course VM after Sep 30th,
2024, you do not need to download this image.
These VMs are the same.
VMWare is not officially supported. If you attempt
to import the machine, there may be boot issues. As a workaround, try
removing the network card in VM settings after
import.
If the VM boots into a black screen (no login), try
this:
Extract the VM disk from the .ova (it’s a tar
archive).
Create a new VM in VirtualBox.
Attach the extracted disk.
Windows Activation
The VM has a temporary license which expires and
causes automatic reboot every 60 minutes.
It is recommended to use your own Windows license
key.
Alternatively:
Extend Trial Period (One Time Only)
Connect the VM to the Internet (use NAT in
VirtualBox settings).
Open cmd.exeas Administrator.
Run: slmgr /rearm
Reboot the VM.
Disconnect the VM from the network.
Note: This can be done only once.
Create a VM snapshot before executing the rearm
operation.
