Important Notes

• If you have purchased and downloaded Intermediate or Advanced Vol.1 course VM after Sep 30th, 2024, you do not need to download this image. These VMs are the same.
• VMWare is not officially supported. If you attempt to import the machine, there may be boot issues. As a workaround, try removing the network card in VM settings after import.
• If the VM boots into a black screen (no login), try this:
  1. Extract the VM disk from the .ova (it’s a tar archive).
  2. Create a new VM in VirtualBox.
  3. Attach the extracted disk.

Windows Activation

• The VM has a temporary license which expires and causes automatic reboot every 60 minutes.
• It is recommended to use your own Windows license key.

Alternatively: Extend Trial Period (One Time Only)

1. Connect the VM to the Internet (use NAT in VirtualBox settings).
2. Open cmd.exe as Administrator.
3. Run: slmgr /rearm
4. Reboot the VM.
5. Disconnect the VM from the network.

Note: This can be done only once. Create a VM snapshot before executing the rearm operation.
